We are looking for an experienced senior software architect being responsible for the architecture and development of one of our core products within the Travel business unit

What awaits you:

Lead the international developer team in the implementation of exciting international customer projects with a focus on the further development of our travel microservice middleware iXX1 (https://www.pass-consulting.com/branchen/travel/travel-web-api/)
Further development of the architecture to a cloud vendor independent scalable microservice solution
Collaboration with internal colleagues as well as with partners and (german) customers
Further development of our cloud based Web API based on state-of-the-art technologies in an international environment
Monitoring

What makes you stand out:

Degree in computer science, business information systems, or a related computer science field of study
Relevant professional experience in a leading software development role with globally distributed team members
Several years of professional experience as a software architect is required
Very good experience with the following technologies: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JUnit, JPA/Hibernate, SQL and noSQL databases, XML/JSON, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, OOP Concepts & Patterns
Extensive knowledge of Microservices architectures and their realization based on Docker and Kubernetes in various cloud environments including Dev Ops skills
Experience in Drools 6.5.0 (rules engine) and experience in agile methods is desirable
Very good written and spoken English skills (business fluent), German is also desirable but not a must have
